Supporting Children in Need

Spalding Academy had an amazing day on Friday 18th November to support Children in Need.  Houses had created some small, classroom based games such as guess the number of sweets, and most Houses had a cake sale in the Year Group yards with bargain selling at the end of the lunchtime to ensure their House raised the most money for the event.

The Press came into SA and took photos of the students who wore their House colours for the day.  The total amount raised was: £1240.08…but still more money is coming into school for this event.  The winning House, who will be given £40 for their own House Charity was: Purple House they are the out right winners for raising the most money. Well done Peake House!

Thanks should go to all the students and staff who made or bought cookies for the day, to the students on the gates collecting extra pennies and to Sainsbury’s for donating cookies to the school to help raise monies for the Children in Need event.
