Free cookie and drink rewards for excellent attendance

Every term, we reward all students in years 7 to 11 with attendance of 96% or higher with a free cookie and drink during a morning break. We have recently changed this from 100% attendance required due to Covid.

Research shows that students with under 90% attendance can drop a full GCSE grade across all subjects, which is why we place such high importance that students should attend school every day.

We are really pleased that despite the impact of Covid, the majority of the school managed to complete the term with attendance of 96% or above. We would like to thank all our parents for their continued efforts in supporting students so they can return to normal school life.

These rewards are handed out each term – so if you didn’t manage to get a treat, there’s always next time.
