Head students represent Spalding Academy on Remembrance Sunday

On Remembrance Sunday, all of our Head Students represented Spalding Academy by taking part in the Spalding Town Parade and placing a poppy wreath at the memorial service.
Throughout last week, students and staff have been getting involved in a variety ways from selling poppies in aid of the Royal British Legion to incorporporating Remembrance into subject lessons.
On Remembrance Day on 11th November at 11am, the whole school stopped during breaktime for a one-minute silence to mark the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the month, which was impeccably observed. Students were also allowed to come to school in their Cadet uniform.
