Each December our Trust would usually support Save the Children in some way.

This year we aim to continue to support this charity by:

Asking our staff at Bourne Academy; Giles Academy; Spalding Academy and Post 16 students at Bourne Academy to wear a Christmas jumper with their normal work wear (please note that it WILL NOT be a non-uniform day this year for staff and Post 16 students on this day).

• Additionally, this year we would also like to invite all staff and students in ALL year groups to participate in supporting this charity by wearing:

CHRISTMAS TIGHTS OR SOCKS

Unfortunately, we cannot have students in Year 7 to 11 wearing Christmas jumpers, as we need to keep the Year Group identity clear at the current time due to COVID restrictions, so we know which students should be on each Year Group Yard, but we feel the Christmas socks and tights will still enable students to support this event.

If your child would like to participate this would be encouraged and we have set up a SLATrust just giving page for you to be able to donate a small amount to support this charity at this challenging time, with all contributions this year being voluntary.
