Mr Billinghurst is officially the Pride of South Holland

Our Assistant Headteacher, Mr Billinghurst has been officially recognised for his outstanding contribution to Spalding Academy and the local community at the Pride of South Holland Awards.

At a prestigious ceremony held at the South Holland Civic Centre on Sunday afternoon, Mr Billinghurst won the Special Achievement Award for 2023 after being nominated by staff, students and the local community, who commented upon his dedication to the pastoral care for our students.

The Special Achievement Award is for someone or a community group that had made outstanding contributions over several years and Mr Billinghurst certainly deserves as he always goes above and beyond for our students and their families.

We are so proud that Mr Billinghurst won this amazing award for his service and care to all Spalding Academy students, past and present.
