Year 9 Rounders Team win every game to win tournament

A big congratulations to our Year 9 Girls Rounders Team who won their first ever inter-school rounders tournament last week at Spalding High School after playing teams from Bourne, Deepings, Spalding and Holbeach.

The team were undefeated throughout the whole competition and won every game to become the tournament winners. Due to their success, we are now through to the South Lincolnshire Final on Wednesday 13th July 2022 to play Boston High School who were the winners of the Boston league tournament.

Laura Donaldson, Teacher of PE at Spalding Academy said “The whole team represented the school fantastically and managed to win every game, whilst displaying excellent sportsmanship throughout. The girls were exceptional at both batting and fielding and should be extremely proud of their achievement.”
