Gymnasts were flying high in the Superzone Trampoline Competition

A massive congratulations to our team of talented gymnasts who represented Spalding Academy by taking part in the annual South Lincolnshire Superzone Trampoline Competition as they were awarded first place as a team.

The team took part in the inter-school competition across three different categories (novice, intermediate and advanced). This involved the students performing a set solo routine in front of all competitors and were judged based on their individual performances.

The Superzone competition is a team sport where the top four individual scores are added together to give a combined score.

There were outstanding performances from every student as Spalding Academy dominated all three categories by coming first place in each category.

The individual results were:

Novice category:

Advanced category:
