Offside Dreams is an original play performed by the KS3 Drama Club
We have a talented group of budding thespians from Years 7 to 9 who are in the KS3 Drama Club. We are excited to announce they will be performing an original play called ‘Offside Dreams’ live on the stage at Spalding Academy.
Tickets for ‘Offside Dreams’ will go on general sale from 9am on Monday 23rd March 2026.
The play will take place on Thursday 7th May 2026 and ‘kick off’ is at 6.00pm with ‘turnstiles’ open at 5.30pm and the ‘final whistle’ at 7.15pm.
Set in a UK secondary school, this electrifying new play follows a girl’s football team who are thrown into turmoil after the sudden death of their beloved coach. What begins as a routine match spirals into heartbreak, rivalry and reckoning, both on and off the pitch.
Narrated with biting humour and emotional honesty, the story moves between changing rooms, living rooms and the roar of match day crowds. This is more than a sports story – it’s about identity, loyalty, forgiveness and what it really means to be part of a team!
The play promised to be powerful, fast-paced and emotionally charged, as well as a celebration of girl’s sport, second chances and finding strength when everything feels lost.
Our team of drama students have been incredibly busy rehearsing and preparing for this production, and we are excited to showcase this new original story to a packed audience of family, friends and staff.
As always, our students really appreciate your support in what will be a highly entertaining evening suitable for all of the family. We would also like to thank Peterborough United Foundation for kindly supporting this production.
Tickets are £3 per person and you can select your preferred seats when booking, so please remember to book early. Visit www.ticketsource.co.uk/spaldingacademy from 9am on Monday 23rd March 2026 to book your seats.
In addition to the production of ‘Offside Dreams’ our annual school musical will take place from Wednesday 1st to Friday 3rd July 2026 with event/ticket information to be announced shortly.
