Congratulations to our Bedrock learners for hard work and dedication

Congratulations to Brandon Baranenko (Year 7) and Elisene Pinupe (Year 8) who were the highest achieving students from Year 7 and 8 in Term One and they were rewarded for their literacy excellence as they completed and made the most progress with the Bedrock Learning platform.

Both students were rewarded with a £10 Amazon Gift Voucher for their hard work and dedication.

One of the ways in which we help our students improve vocabulary and academic achievements is using ‘Bedrock Vocabulary’. This is an online tool, which is used in the classroom and can also be used at home so parents can work with their children. It is designed to help students learn the tricky sort of language they might come across in textbooks, lessons or exams so will improve their academic achievements across all subjects.

Our students and parents have really embraced this learning platform as our school is in the top percentage of schools in the UK for the usage of the Bedrock Learning – and this is thanks to students like Brandon and Elisene.
