Congratulations to our Bedrock Stars for their hard work and dedication

Oskar Chomicz, Charlie Lowe and Liam Phillips with Mrs Jemma Curson, Head of School
Congratulations to Oskar Chomicz, Charlie Lowe and Liam Phillips who are all ‘Bedrock Stars’ and are a select group of only 50 students out of 300,000 students in the whole of the UK to be a winner in the Bedrock Learning Prize Draw. All of these students demonstrated hard work and dedication by achieving 120+ points last term to be entered into the draw to win a £10 Amazon Voucher.
One of the ways in which we help our students improve vocabulary and academic achievements is using ‘Bedrock Vocabulary’. This is an online tool, which is used in the classroom and can also be used at home so parents can work with their children. It is designed to help students learn the tricky sort of language they might come across in text books, lessons or exams so will improve their academic achievements across all subjects.
Our students and parents have really embraced this learning platform as our school is in the top percentage of schools in the UK for the usage of the Bedrock Learning – and this is thanks to students like Oskar, Charlie and Liam.
