Reading initiative encourages students to write book reviews

Over the summer holidays, our Year 7 students had a Summer Reading Challenge where they received a free book from the library to read over the summer, and then complete a postcard with a review on the book they have read and what they enjoyed about it.

There was a fantastic selection of brand new books for students to choose from and every book available was different. The students could even keep the book for themselves as it did not need to be returned.

The completed postcards were returned to the school in the Term 1 and we would like to congratulate Gabriel Nowicki and Oli Billinghurst for their winning entries. The both received gift vouchers as a reward for their efforts.
