Students fine tuning their acts in rehearsals for EVOLVE Project

Next week on Wednesday 11th February 2026, we are excited for the EVOLVE Project concert to take place and our students have been busy rehearsing extremely hard during their lunchtimes and after school to put on an amazing show – just for you!.
From what we have heard in rehearsals, we know you are in for a treat as there will be a great selection of student bands and soloists performing a diverse range of pop, indie and rock songs from across the decades. From ABBA to Nirvana, Busted to Linkin Park and Billie Eilish to Metallic, there will be something for everyone.
The EVOLVE Project provides an amazing opportunity for students of all ages and abilities to get involved in music and the creative arts by performing, producing, engineering and running an entire show. This year, over 50 students from Years 7 to 11 are involved and everyone has played an important role to make this event a success.
Miss Armstrong, Head of Music at Spalding Academy said “I am incredibly proud of the commitment and dedication our students have shown in preparation for the EVOLVE Project performance. Rehearsals over the past weeks and months have been focused, energetic and full of creativity with students working hard to refine their skills and support one another. They are preparing to give their very best on the night and I have no doubt that their hard work will shine through in what promises to be a brilliant evening!”
