To help raise money for Comic Relief / Red Nose Day every student and member of staff took part in a non-uniform day. This year we used the day to also help raise funds for the people of Ukraine by asking students to donate a minimum of £2 with 50% going to Comic Relief and 50% to the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
Both charities will make a huge difference to the lives of people who are in need. Comic Relief supports amazing projects that make a difference to the lives of millions of people across the UK and around the world. Then due to the recent developments in the Ukraine, we feel compelled to assist where we can to support the families affected by this current conflict.
To show their support for Ukraine, students were given the opportunity to wear something blue and yellow (to represent the Ukrainian flag) on the day.
The generosity of our students and staff has been overwhelming with the school raising £2,219.08.
