Due to consistently achieving outstanding results, the SLAT Sixth Form is continuing to grow and will be welcoming a record number of new students joining the Sixth Form in September from secondary schools across the region.

Mrs Lucy Conley, Chief Executive Officer at South Lincolnshire Academies Trust said “We are immensely proud to have been able to celebrate an increase in both the A-level and BTEC grades with a record number of students achieving A* and A grades. It has been wonderful to see the successes of our students today as their hard work and dedication in Sixth Form has been rewarded. The destinations our students have secured is incredible with 99% having achieved their first-choice university or apprenticeship offers. These including studying Electrical Engineering at University of Warwick, Law at University of York, History at University of Liverpool, Psychology at University of Leeds, and Biomedical Science at University of Sheffield. There are also amazing degree apprenticeships secured at both local and national companies such as Bakkavor and IBM plus even a UKSA Superyacht Cadetship. We wish them every success and very best in their future careers. I would like to thank the Sixth Form team and teaching staff for all of their advice, guidance and outstanding teaching that students have received throughout their Sixth Form journey.”

The next Sixth Form Open Evening will take place on Thursday 13th November 2025. For more information about the SLAT Sixth Form at Bourne Academy, visit: www.bourneacademy.org/sixthform
