Over 1,200 visitors were welcomed to our Open Evening
Our Open Evening this week proved to be just as popular as last year with an incredible 1,200+ visitors attending coming from Spalding and all of the surrounding towns and villages.
Students in Years 4 to 6 and their parents/carers were so enthusiastic as they viewed all of the different subject areas, enthusiastically led by our team of student tour guides.
With a capacity audience in the school hall and so many people eager to visit on the evening, our main presentations with Mrs Conley, Executive Headteacher and Mrs Curson, Head of School started earlier than scheduled.
Keira Langford in Year 7 was fantastic speaking so confidently in the main hall during the presentations.
We would like to thank every one of the Spalding Academy students who were amazing on the evening as they were so enthusiastic and passionate about wanting to represent the subject areas and show families around the school.
The Open Evenings provide the perfect opportunity for parents/carers to really find out about the school as there is no substitute to seeing it in person. On the evening we received lots of positive feedback from parents who attended the Open Evening and it was so rewarding for the whole school to see so many smiling faces.
