Science poster competition inspires ideas around the theme of Growth
Our Science department held a Science Poster Competition as part of British Science Week for our Year 7, 8 and 9 students to share their passion and knowledge for the subject.
The theme of the competition was ‘growth’ and there were some really impressive entries, which demonstrated how our students really thought of the box with ideas about the growth of the brain, technology, crystals and vaccines.
Over 80 entries were received, which made it even more difficult for our staff pick the winners. They enjoyed judging all of the fantastic posters as they could see what students had learnt in lessons put into their work.
Congratulations to Everita Kude who was awarded first place for exploring ‘Growth in Space’ (poster pictured above)and also to Amelia Wyrot and Aria Evans who were awarded Highly Commended places (posters pictured below).
