Sparkle & Bright non-uniform day raises £4,200 for Young Minds charity

On Wednesday, all of the schools in the Trust come together as one to raise money for charity with a special one-off non-uniform day with the theme of ‘Sparkle & Bright’.

This event raised an incredible £4,200 for the Young Minds charity, which was chosen by Mrs Conley as it is close to her heart and who do an incredible job in giving advice and support to young people affected by mental health.

The non-uniform day is one of ways in which we have been able to help raise money to commemorate that Mrs Conley has worked 35 years in education and is retiring at the end of 2025.

When Mrs Conley retires, she has requested that she does not want any leaving presents or fuss, but what would make her happier than anything is to raise money for charity.

As well as the non-uniform day – staff, parents/carers, current and former students can also donate to a Just Giving page (on the link below), to raise additional monies for Young Minds.

Any further donations over the next few weeks is greatly appreciated and will help ensure no young person feels alone with their mental health.
