Under 14 Girls are the Indoor Hockey Tournament Champions

Our Under 14 Girls Indoor Hockey team were triumphant earlier this term when they won an inter-school tournament after competing against Bourne Grammar School, Spalding High School and Charles Read Academy.

The team played outstanding hockey throughout the whole tournament with their confidence growing game by game.

In the final game against Bourne Grammar A, it was a nail-biting match with both teams drawing until the final minute when we then scored a thrilling goal at the very end to win the match 3-2 and win the tournament!

It was a great achievement as this is the first time Spalding Academy has won the Indoor Hockey Tournament.

Well done to the whole team as they demonstrated excellent teamwork, skill and determination. The Player of the Tournament went to Lily Hooker for her outstanding skills and goals throughout.
